A few days ago, I went to the mailbox and found the wonderful news about Squirrel's World being selected for the Texas Bluebonnet Master List. Today, I went to my computer and found a note from my Candlewick editor saying Kisses on the Wind won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Medal Award! I am so grateful for these lovely blessings and will be sure to include them in my thanksgiving prayers.
